Cherry Ripe Smoothie


Cherry ripe in a glass – need I say more? This feel-good smoothie will send endorphins zinging through your body! What you need:

2 cups frozen cherries (you can also use fresh but they are a pain to pit!) 1 cup oat milk (or any milk you prefer) 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder (cocoa powder is ok too) 1 small medjool date (pitted and chopped) or 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup, optional 2 tablespoons almond butter (or any nut butter)* *you can replace the nut butter with a frozen banana if you prefer Method: Blend the ingredients at high speed until smooth and creamy. Add a little more liquid to adjust thickness if necessary. If you prefer a super-icy smoothie, add a couple of ice cubes in before blending.
